Betances Health Center is excited about celebrating our 50th anniversary servicing our communities and providing health care services to NYC. Our fundraising gala, which was originally scheduled on May 1, 2020, had to be cancelled due to the pandemic. Since the beginning, our staff have been on the frontlines of the pandemic, responding to patient needs and we’re preparing for the long-term because we know that we play a critical role in protecting public health and that we will be needed for future COVID-19 and antibody testing and providing health cares services to our communities, but we need your help to sustain our operations.
Therefore, Betances has decided to host our first silent auction, which will take place on Wednesday, September 30th – October 11, 2020, virtually and we are inviting you to participate
Betances Health Center was founded on the principle that quality health care is a basic right. It took courage for our founders to establish Betances Health Center in 1970 to become one of the earliest community health centers in the community health care movement. Driven by passion, concern for community, and a will to work toward providing that care were attributes of our founders that we embrace in following in their footsteps to continue providing health care to underserved communities and beyond.
